Our Approach
For us, staging is more than just filling a space. Our customized method is designed to showcase a property’s attributes while diminishing any challenging elements. For example, we might choose tone on tone, textural furnishings for a newly built or renovated property to create a warm, inviting environment. An older property might require a more graphic, architectural plan to offset dated finishes. Our solutions are always property specific. We never limit ourselves to inventory we have on hand, often sourcing items and creating custom artwork specifically for a project.
About Us
Kerrie pursued a passion for the artistic interplay of composition, color and texture at the University of Alabama while earning a BA in Studio Art with a concentration in Fashion Design. After graduating, she started a career in retail merchandizing, quickly rising through the ranks and holding executive management positions which several prestigious brands such as Coach and L’Oreal. This corporate experience fostered her commitment to excellence in customer service and project management. This career track necessitated several moves, sparking a love of interior design, honing her skills with every new residence. Kerrie chose to engage her artistic passion for interiors while capitalizing on her professional skills, co-founding StagedSTL in 2017.
Raj graduated with a BA in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis and then went on to work as a stock analyst and then as an investment advisor, fostering his passion for calculated choices and cost-benefit analysis. Later, Raj explored his creative side, studying Art and Interior Design in San Fransisco, CA and then went on to obtain his Masters Degree in Architecture from Washington University while also securing his real estate license and build a client base. Raj started Portica Real Estate in 2013, a boutique Clayton based real estate firm helping clients realize the full potential of the properties they buy and sell through making smart design choices. As his real estate business grew, he realized that there was need for a company that approached staging with a design-detailed, property specific approach, and thus co-founded StagedSTL.
